Last week, colleagues from Eltomation took part in the Dutch Green Building Week, an inspiring event organized by the DGBC. The event highlighted inspiring examples of how we can work together to build a more sustainable future as well as providing breakout sessions on practical matters.
At Eltomation, we are fully committed to key sustainability goals like the circularity of construction materials, climate adaptation, creating CO2-neutral built environments, and improving indoor climate health. With renewed energy, we’re driving forward to bring innovative production lines for pre-fabricated wall elements to both the European and American markets. We believe these solutions will play a crucial role in addressing the challenges of sustainable construction.
Eltomation has secured a significant contract to supply a full-scope Wood Wool Cement Board (WWCB) plant to a new customer, STIGA RM. Known for its strong presence in forestry products and plywood industry, STIGA RM is expanding into the production of high-end acoustic and decorative boards with this greenfield project.
The plant, designed and delivered by Eltomation, will incorporate the latest in WWCB technology, renowned for producing durable, fire-resistant, and sustainable building materials. This new venture aligns with both companies’ goals of advancing innovative, eco-friendly construction solutions.
STIGA RM’s new facility will boost its manufacturing capabilities, enabling the company to meet growing demand for premium acoustic and decorative boards, both locally and internationally.
CEO Bert van Elten from Eltomation was speaker at the recently held conference “Building Materials and Methods for Affordable Housing in Africa” organized by École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL).
With his presentation “Wood Wool Cement Technologies for Affordable Housing in Africa”, Bert van Elten elaborated on Eltomation’s interest in providing the needed technology for affordable and durable building materials to African communities.
